What is the Aspen Network?

History

The Aspen Network was originally called the 'Tapestry Network' and served as the church planting ministry of Tapestry Church. Tapestry is located just outside of Calgary, AB, Canada and was replanted on Easter 2017 in Cochrane, AB by Pastor Kelly Reid. Within six months of replanting, Tapestry Church welcomed their first church planting apprentice (Dustin Conner). At the same time, Tapestry adopted two young couples who felt called to live life on mission in downtown Calgary. In the Fall of 2017, Tapestry Church formally launched the Tapestry Network with the vision of planting five churches in five years. Currently, Aspen Network has church planters committed to seven different locations throughout the greater Calgary area and two potential church planters getting ready for the SEND church planting assessment in May 2023.
